On Wednesday 11th January, Ashford Borough Council held its prestigious Design Awards to celebrate the best new properties and developments in the area.
We are thrilled to announce that Pentland Homes was awarded Best Housing Development in the Building Construction Award category for our Chamberlain Manor Extra Care Home project. Our Bluebells development of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes on Maidstone Road was also Highly Commended in the category of Architectural House Type Design.
These awards are expertly judged by Liz Gibney and Richard Portchmouth, who both sit on the independent Ashford Design Panel which advises the Council. The panel also consists of Mark Chaplin, Ashford Borough Council’s Principal Urban Designer, and Cllr Mike Bennett, the council’s portfolio holder for planning and development, formed the judging panel.
Ashford Borough Council’s prestigious Design Awards are all about ensuring that the delivery of quality housing and homes for all is recognised, making us even prouder to say we achieved this award. Many of the award-winning house designs from Bluebells also feature at our Scholars Village development in Folkestone (now over 80% sold), and our recently launched Terlingham Rise development in Hawkinge.
